Preparing Biblically-Qualified, Church-Approved Leaders

The Church Leader Foundation Program has been developed by the Christ College Faculty to prepare biblically-qualified and church-approved men and women for the challenges of church leadership in post-Christian Australia.

The Church Leader Foundation Program is offered part-time over four years and can be counted towards a Diploma of Theology or Graduate Diploma of Divinity award of the Australian College of Theology. It is particularly well-suited to men and women who wish to complete their study around other priority work and family commitments.

Features

The CLFP has some distinctive features including:

  • Minister-shaped training: the program contributes to the same Graduate Attributes as the Course of Training for Presbyterian candidates.
  • New pathway into the Course of Training: graduates of the Church Leader Foundation Program will be given credit for all completed units into the Course of Training.
  • Part-time workload: students will complete only one unit per semester over four years.
  • Accessible classes: all units will be offered face-to-face on campus via intensive or evening classes. Regular daytime classes are also available.
