Ferrie Jazz-Homily 2023

Ferrie Jazz-Homily 2023

Join us for our annual public lecture presented this year by Dr Mark Glanville, Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at Regent College, Vancouver.

Dr Glanville will be presenting a Jazz-homily entitled, “Improvising Church: Scripture as the Source of Harmony, Rhythm, and Soul”. Part speaking, part music (with a 3 piece jazz band), the evening will unpack the metaphor of improvising church, and then explore how churches can improvise upon the biblical motif of God’s maternal nurture.

Because of the nature of this year’s event, there is a $20 cover charge (+ 50c TryBooking ticket fee). Refreshments will be provided.

Registration is essential and closes August 9th.
